David Goudsward is the author of H. P. Lovecraft in the Merrimack Valley and sixteen additional books, including the internationally acclaimed Sun, Sand, and Sea Serpents, a history of sea monsters in Florida and the Caribbean.
A retired librarian turned independent scholar, he has appeared on such television programs as Secrets and Mysteries, Mysteries at the Museum, Monumental Mysteries, and Fright Club. He also coordinated the installation of a headstone for Charles W. “Tryout” Smith, Lovecraft correspondent and Amateur Journalism icon.
